Today’s prompt was to take things I’ve already written and turn those into a poem. I chose to dig into last year’s Bad Poet entries, haphazardly choosing lines. So here’s that poem, along with my “hell freezes over” daily drawing.

I AM READY
Oh shit!
it’s too much
I want to look away
Butterflies dancing
a life of service
the stars: sparkles & glitter
Mother Earth, Gaia
I hope we learn and heal
we have the power
sharing my offerings
with the world
focusing on the bulls-eye
a tornado of rainbow
sharing … sharing … sharing
hips trace infinity
a door … a portal
opened
