2025 Bad Poet: Day 20

Today’s prompt was to create a burning haibun. It’s a sort of black-out poem done with a prose poem as a base. I used Pando Aspen Clone by Jacqueline Balderrama as the base for mine. And here’s my “freedom” daily drawing too! (Created while waiting to get my tire patched.)

I’m not typing this one out. It’s too much. But the top is the original. Then I did a first cut. Then a final. Katie says the final is supposed to be about the length of a haiku, so this is still a bit longer than that. But I like it, so …
