Today’s prompt was to write a counterculture poem. Or a genre poem expressing a value. To write a manifesto or an older song in a new genre. Or to write a poem that welcomes a scream and a whisper. I went more with the first two of those. The *snaps* are a reference to the beatnik era, in case that isn’t clear. And I’m also sharing my “romance” daily drawing.

with the claws they used
