Today’s prompt was to notice… And one thing I noticed is, I did it! I wrote 31 poems as of today!! And kept with my daily drawing, and today’s was “Valentine.”
heavy lids
aching legs
short stubble up top
feels nice on my palm
stretch shoulders back
neck round & round
back side to side
stretch and skritch
fluffy fur as Trinity
weaves between my legs
much is ard with the world
and
there’s still fluffy fur to skritch

Finishing one of these challenges always brings mixed feelings. I do really enjoy writing poems. And I still have pages in my notebook to fill.
It’s been pretty quiet in the comments, both here and on Facebook, so I’m not sure if folks are reading. I wonder if anyone has a favorite. If any part of any of what I’ve written these last 31 days has landed. I write for myself, but since I share them with the world, I wonder about you too.
