Today’s prompt was connected to the disc that was sent with Voyager. So, basically, to create a time capsule of things, music, etc… from now.
The Poem: Time Capsule
looking across the years
the centuries
what should we remember
about now
bombs,
genocide,
neighbors kidnapped
and trafficked?
mass shootings,
billionaire pedophiles,
destroying the planet
with gen a.i.?
or
fighting for liberation,
rebuilding community,
protesting the fucking
fascists?
saving the planet,
teaching our youth,
creating the world
we all deserve?
the latter sounds better
and I’m full of hope
