The Prompt
The prompt for today was to write the first line of different poems. Maybe I’ll revisit them and flesh them out.
The First Lines
- tears poured when I saw that glitter of a ghost
- 50 pounds of extra mass
- smiles, simultaneous with a supernova of grief
- was it all a mistake pulling up roots
- life speeds by at the pace
of a snail and a rat in turn
