… when preparing to move? I guess time will tell. I’ve definitely struggled with that in the past!!
I’m on an adventure!
If you’ve joined my e-mail newsletter list, The Daring Digest, you know that I was laid off from my full-time work in the beginning of June. Very unexpectedly, and with less than a week’s notice.
Good times.
Oh, I’ve had my share of freak outs since then. Things in my future are pretty uncertain. But as I’ve been figuring out what’s next, I’ve decided I’ll be selling my house and moving north. (Location to be share at another time.)
When will this be happening? … idk. Literally.
Basically my next steps are determined by getting a bid on my house or getting a job there or one that will travel with me there.
So, I’m packing.
And I’m offering art and crafts through my Moving Sale!!
And I’m packing. What to do when I get to a wall of art? Do I pack it? I’d much rather send it to *you*!! (If you’ve ever moved, I’m sure you understand this feeling!! 😂)
An offering (or a few)
So I’ve been adding different art and crafts to the Living Daringly Shop that I’ve procrastinated on adding in the past.
Today I added four original art pieces that feel very hopeful to me. See any you like?
Our nation is in crisis, and there are plenty of personal crises that are going along with that. So I offer you these mixed media original art pieces as a reminder that there’s love, hope, and peace for us in the midst of these darker times. Bring one home today or buy gifts for a rainy day.
Summing up
I’m not sure if I’ll find peace in the midst of this move any more than I’ve found it in past ones. Though I guess I should hold onto the fact that I don’t feel as stressed as I have with past moves. At least not yet. And not all of those have been out-of-state moves.
But looking at the art I’ve created … I feel reconnected to hope and the good in the world. I’d love to know how you connect with them?
