Once upon a time
nearly everything pissed me off
No. Really.
It was absurd.
Add years
Add intentional healthing & growth
Once upon a now
Far fewer things truly piss me off
And they aren’t so absurd
… injustice
in all of its forms
… oppression
… capitalism
… certainly fucking genocide
… patriarchy
… racism
… ambivalence
… apathy
to all of the injustice
Once upon a time
I carried anger that wasn’t mine &
wasn’t worth carrying
Once upon a new
much of my anger is righteous
… focused on protecting the things,
the beings,
I love
