teal plays behind ripples in the Bay
bird feet follow dog feet in the sand
birds conspire on a sandbar
rivers wind through the sand
silver cuts into glass
human foot finds shard on the ground
birds conspire for a snack
river trickles of water and cut glass
mint green seeps into water in a cup
cat paw reaches to explore
birds sleep and others awaken
river pours from cup to human mouth
