Today’s Bad Poet prompt was to write from imagination. Instead of just using our poem as an outlet for what already resides in us, to create a poem of pure fancy: to write the impossible. And I felt called to draw the first stanza too…
a tornado of rainbow
splatters of black and white rain
people much like us
walk and play, faces to the sky
drops streaming down and
drying in the rays
of a blue sun
an electron dance of rainbow
songs of low and high notes
beings of all types
dancing with the electrons
black and white sweat dripping and
basking in the rays
of a pink moon
My inspiration for this was thinking how I first start a visual art piece. I usually start by picking colors and playing with them…
