I did it!!!
It’s the last day of February, and I did it!!! I wrote a poem a day for 29 days. The Bad Poet prompt for today was basically to reflect over the last 29 days. (And if you’re keeping count, it’s day 152 of my drawing-a-day challenge: with 123 of those honoring a free Palestine.)
I’m a poet
and I sorta knew it
past limericks, haikus
a love poem or twenty
artist of word & sight
combine
new creations waiting
in the future
comfort zone expanded
flexible
a door … a portal
opened
How do these connect with you?
Or how was this entire workshop/challenge for you, as a reader? I’ll follow up with my more prose-y thoughts on my experiences later… But I’m curious what your takeaways are, if you’ve been following along or popping in and out of my sharing these!!
