Day 10-100 Day Challenge

It’s been a rainy day here in St. Pete today. Even with that, I snuck out during some sprinkles to check out who might be out and about in the yard.

I noticed my twoleaf nightshade (Solanum diphyllum) was blooming. I also saw a dragonfly (maybe a Pachydiplax longipennis) that sat still long enough for me to get a picture.

The rain made the air feel cool, so it was a flannel along with the Wool& dress today.

I did have to spot wash the dress again this morning, because I’d gotten deodorant on it. But it came out easy peasy with Haipazaza Phezuta soap, and the dress dried fast enough for me to wear it most of the day.

Today was a car fixing day. I took my car to the mechanic for an oil change and tire rotation. I also ended up getting my brake fluid changed. Then I got gas on the way home, since I’d put it off as long as I could. Among all of those things, triple yowch to the bank account.

$60 to fill up my Mini Cooper with mid-grade. Yowza!!

Fortunately my mechanic arranged a Lyft to drop me off at home after I dropped of the car, and to pick me back up to go pick it back up again. (No additional charge.) While waiting for my Lyft, I snapped a picture in front of my bottle tree.

Work has been busy these past couple of weeks, and I’m feeling it. I’ve got my eye on taking a couple of days off work in the near future.

Wishing you love, joy, and rest.
