Creative expression and play (!) are both human needs. And, as adults, we too often prioritize everything else ahead of those things. So take some time for *you* and join this unique, virtual art play practice on Tuesday, April 22 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. ET.
Who is this workshop for?:
This workshop is for you if you say things like “I can’t even draw a stick figure.” It’s also for artists who want to let go of structure and just play for awhile.
What will we do in the workshop?:
During this virtual workshop you’ll be invited to reflect and journal about a topic. Then, we’ll use those thoughts and feelings as as a foundation for our art play, as Christy (founder of Living Daringly) guides you to create a truly personal piece of visual art.
Who do I need to participate?
I recommend a pen, pencil, and paper as well as supplies that will add color to your piece: crayons, colored pencils, or markers. If you have any or all of those things, don’t buy anything new!
If you want, you can add a hand-curated set of art supplies so you have everything you need without having to think much about it. (Please keep in mind mailing times when purchasing.)
How is this different from other art workshops?
You’ll be making your art piece based from your own thoughts and feelings you reflect upon in the moment. Instead of everyone in the class mimicking the facilitator, you’ll be guided with prompts that allow you to interpret and play (!) with them!!
What happens after I complete my purchase?
Christy will reach out via e-mail to provide the Zoom link. If you buy art supplies, she’ll get those in the mail to you right away and send you the tracking information.
