Back in 2020 I participated in dippen calligraphy classes with Crooked Calligraphy. I’d previously tried to teach myself, and I just couldn’t get it. Shinah’s online instruction really helped.
This piece was a commission from a friend to their godchild. The quote is from Rumi. I did two versions, because I was worried they wouldn’t like my design and lettering. So they chose the one they liked best and I kept the other. (Which, ironically, was the one I liked better!!)
