It takes me a while to create big pieces. And sometimes I get “stuck” in the piece. Which mostly means I need instant gratification a little too often. So I’ve started creating smaller pieces when I get that “stuck” feeling. I keep working on the bigger piece, but I also get the satisfaction of finishing something with the smaller piece.
This diptych was an experiment in that. Two smaller pieces that are connected and together tell a story. I played with acrylic inks, paints, and collage elements. I love the collaged “Mother Earth” that anchors the piece. And of course, what can change the world? A little more love…
