#promoteyourartapril Day 23. This is an oldie. I think I created this as part of the second paint-and-sip class I ever took. Maybe the last one I participated in. Back in 2011. October of 2011, after my Dad died. After a bunch of folks died in 2010 too.
Attending a few sketch-and-sip classes gave me the confidence to start creating paintings on my own. And (sharing to build anticipation), I’ll soon be paying that love and energy forward with some offerings of my own!!
I still like this painting. And I still hate that I signed it so big on the front. It hangs behind me as I type… Maybe I’ll recreate this using all of the tools in my creative toolbox…
