Too, the political climate has me lying low with writing, because I want this site to be one of (mostly) positivity. Albino Squirrel

One of my neighbors is an albino squirrel. I saw her at the base of a pine tree today when I took Willow out. She was munching contentedly on a magnolia seed pod. As I took Willow back inside, I noticed that she went up the tree. I went and grabbed my camera.Read More »Albino Squirrel

Afternoon at the Aquarium

The aquarium is a big, glass building. The trees and vines have started growing right up on the glass. Not sure I did it justice, but it looked cool.

I have a four-day training next week, and my school starts up for pre-planning on the 17th. So I’ve been trying to get out and do some fun activities before the madness begins in a couple of weeks.

Not that I won’t do fun stuff when the madness does begin, but I’ll have to be more mindful about when I do them.

So today it was off to the Florida Aquarium for me. They offer free admission to teachers all of the time, which is really nice of them.Read More »Afternoon at the Aquarium
