My tagline for Living Daringly is “empowerment through creativity and learning.” Which, of course, can cover a lot of ground.
Which is good for me. As a self-identified “multipotentialite,” a word coined by Emilie Wapnick, I find that I can get bored or feel stagnant just focusing on one thing for too long. So I bounce around a bit with interests and offerings. If you’ve been reading the blog for a minute, you know…
Yoga
Back during the summer of 2017, I went through a 200 hour yoga teacher training. It was transformational in many ways. I wanted to offer yoga teachings to my high school students, but there ended up being too many legal hoops to make that happen. So I taught a few classes with my teacher colleagues before I was in a car accident that took me out of commision for a bit.
Since then I’ve taught classes here and there. Donation based at parks and the like. Or substituting for someone who was out at a studio.
At heart I am and always will be a teacher in some form.
Current offerings
I feel really excited about this!! The offerings are still technically in the future. But I’m rebooting offerings for an online yoga practice!!
Before jumping into the offering, I want to make sure folks can attend (i.e. best day/time for folks to attend). I also want to check in with any needs you might have as a participant.
So, if you are at all interested, please complete this survey to help me with planning. Want to learn more about my yoga teaching style and philosophy? Take a look here.
Closing Out
I hope you’ll join me with this yoga offering, and I definitely look forward to your feedback in the survey. I’ll admit, in my head these offerings will be different than what you might get in a studio environment. My offering will likely be a combination of body movement, journaling, and art in some combination or another.
Stay tuned for another more art-based offering coming soon!!
May we share
kind thoughts,
kind words, and
kind actions, intentions, and love.
