When I was a kid, we looked forward to getting snow days in northwest Ohio. The roads would be too bad for the buses to run.
Or sometimes we’d get a fog day. Those were even better. It was too dangerous for the buses to drive through it in the early morning, and by the time it cleared sometimes it was too late to start school.
