I’ve been going to a lot of doctors recently. Nearly every doctor makes you step on a scale, no matter what you are there for. The last scale I stepped on had me at 165 lbs. That’s about 20 lbs over my healthy weight by most standards. I feel it in my face, and I see it in pictures.

Day 5-Hallelujah a Tailwind

We “lost” 10 miles yesterday and stopped early at Gîte du Domaine-Joseph Ross. We decided to try to recoup those miles today, for a total of 57 miles. Our longest day if we don’t have to make up any miles, and my longest mileage in a day to date. (57 miles!)Read More »Day 5-Hallelujah a Tailwind

Chosen Passions

Yesterday two of my friends started a weeklong kayaking journey from Fort DeSoto to Marathon, FL. It’s a 300 mile trip during a time with some of the roughest weather and through some of the most difficult habitats in Florida. And it’s not even their first time!
