Today’s Bad Poet prompt was to write a “how to” list. I couldn’t get Carsie Blanton’s “Be Good” lyrics out of my head in response to this prompt, so some of them made it in here (with credit).
How to Save the World:
To steal a line, or maybe two
“Be good to the people you love,
And love everybody alive.”
Carsie Blanton’s words would do a lot
No more bombs
No more bullets
No more guns
Not one fucking more
No rich, white, old, male people in power
for at least 50 years
