Today’s Bad Poet prompt was to write a poem about what inspires and/or restores me?
bare feet on wild ground
deep breaths focused on gratitude
wind brushing my face when on two wheels
the adoration of cats’ gazes while giving neck scritches
tears pouring while watching the perfect show
hours passing easily while creating . . .
all the things
real, deep conversation with folks who care
humans lifting each other
the curiousity of children
and their willingness to help
plants growing with the help of animal friends
focusing on the bulls-eye while drawing the bow
seeing the world from a different location
moving, floating in water
the well of the universe replenishes all
